REKA

Bea Hansson is based in Duved. Reka is her sanctuary alongside her other life. Her idea is to create with care and let each garment speak for itself – in its own way. She hopes that it contributes to a more long-term and sustainable industry.

The shirts are made of Muslin fabric which is 100% cotton and has a soft texture.
Muslin is a fabric made of woven cotton and can therefore shrink a little when washed. I recommend using hand wash and cold water (machine washable) and a mild detergent. (There is also a small hand wash symbol on the side of the shirts).

"Usually when I embroider shirts to order, it's not uncommon for customers to share small personal details that I can interpret freely - which makes the process so much more fun. Getting to play with your words and weave them in my way made the creation so easy. And at the same time, I think "The way we play" fits so nicely with what Reka is, which made the creative process so much more natural and playful."
